Interpretive Trainer: Kevin Baron

Kevin Baron has been has been a guest presenter with North Wind Heritage Consulting and a Certified Interpretive Trainer with the National Association for Interpretation since 2020. However, he has been training interpretive staff for more than a decade and has more than fifteen years of experience as a front-line interpreter, having previously worked at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, Alberta Government House, Fort Edmonton Park, the John Walter Museum, and Alberta Parks. Throughout his career in parks and museum education, his passion was using heritage interpretation as a tool of community building, and this passion has extended to his numerous volunteer roles: he is currently the President of the Ukrainian Pioneers Association of Alberta, a Director of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress-Alberta Provincial Council, and a Director of the Beaver Hills Biosphere Region Association.
